Jenny Bees is a home-based "hobby business," owned and operated by me, Jenny. I am married to
my wonderful husband, David. We have two sons, Braden (age 4) and Cameron, who was just born in
February of 2009!
My professional career is teaching. Before Braden was born, I taught first grade in a public elementary
school. I then worked as a full-time mom for almost three years before going back to the classroom
part-time teaching second grade at a private Christian University-Model school. The students attend
class only two days per week, so it offers a wonderful balance. I recently resigned my teaching
position and have returned to "at-home mom" mode now that we have our new baby.
I have always enjoyed art and graphic design. I created birth announcements and first birthday
invitations for Braden. After that, many of my friends started asking me to create custom designs for
their children, too, and thus, Jenny Bees was born!
